Foundation work for first subway line in Indonesia

In the pulsating metropolis of Jakarta, history is being written: Our experts from Bauer Spezialtiefbau played a key role in the construction of the first subway line in Jakarta, Indonesia. For the Kota Station, 136 diaphragm wall elements were installed over a length of 867 m and up to a depth of 43 m. Work was executed on a confined site between two busy main streets and historical buildings, including the Pantjoran Tea House just three meters away. Despite difficult soil conditions and limited available space, the project was concluded successfully in June 2023.
