Production of a mixed-in-place wall for Hirslanden Klinik

Our experts from Bauer Spezialtiefbau Schweiz replaced the planned sheet pile wall with a mixed-in-place wall (MIP) for the extension of the Hirslanden Klinik Aarau. The 550 mm thick wall extends to a depth of 17 m and contains HEB and double UPE beams. Two areas were secured with 2 m wide jetting columns. Due to environmental regulations, part of the MIP wall will be removed again in 2025 using the Kelly drilling method. The work started in January 2024 and was completed on schedule in February. The RTG RG 27 S and RG 19 T were used for beam installation and splash protection.
