Feldolling flood control reservoir
In Feldolling, south of Munich, a flood control reservoir was constructed for the Mangfall River. For this project, the experts from Bauer Spezialtiefbau executed a 21,000 m² cut-off wall using the Mixed-in-Place method. The scope of works also encompassed the construction of multiple dikes with different lengths along with additional structures for the operation of the retaining basin. Various methods were used such as the Mixed-in-Place method and jet grouting technique in order to install the required cut-off walls. The particular challenges with this project: working near important supply lines and the varied geological structure of the soil.
