Excavation pit construction in the city of Frankfurt am Main

Our experts from Bauer Spezialtiefbau were commissioned to construct an excavation pit in the metropolis on the Main River in the immediate vicinity of the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds for a new hotel and office high-rise as well as for the South entrance of the exhibition grounds. What this actually means: A total of 45 fully cased foundation piles with a diameter of 1,500 mm were constructed along with a 240 m two-phase diaphragm wall, up to a depth of 33 m. This formed the basis for the construction of a 123 m tall skyscraper with a four-story underground garage. The logistics were particularly challenging due to the lack of available storage area. The solution? Good planning and organization.
