Foundation work for Suvarnabhumi Airport Expansion Project
The Suvarnabhumi Airport Expansion Project aimed to increase the airport's capacity and improve its infrastructure. This large-scale project required significant foundation and structural work executed by Thai Bauer to support the new development. The scope of works included the installation of 413 bored piles with a diameter of 1,200 mm, along with 216 bored piles with a diameter of 1,500 mm, at 48 m deep. Additionally, 36 bored piles with a diameter of 1,500 mm were installed to a depth of 54 m, and 4 piles of the same diameter reached a depth of 62 m. Our experts also constructed 33,521 m² of diaphragm walls with a thickness of 1,000 mm, extending to depths of 30 to 35 m. The completion of this phase laid the groundwork for the airport's expansion, ensuring a solid foundation for future growth.
