Foundation work for Burj El Behar

In 2005, Bauer Egypt was commissioned for a critical foundation project in Libya. The scope of work centered on the execution of 160 post-grouted barrettes, each with a cross-sectional dimension of 2.2 x 1 m and a length of 21 m. To ensure the reliability and safety of these foundation elements, rigorous load testing was conducted. This included testing the pilot barrettes and the working barrettes to 200% of their working load in compression, confirming the stability and strength required for the project. These efforts were crucial in laying a solid foundation for the development.
