Foundation work for Al-Sokhna Supercritical Thermal Power Plant
Located at Al-'Ain al-Sokhna on the Red Sea, the al-Sokhna Supercritical Thermal Power Plant project involved substantial groundwork by Bauer Egypt. The Egyptian Electricity Authority commissioned Bauer to execute significant diaphragm wall works as part of this power plant development. The scope included constructing a circular shaft with a diameter of 75 m, a thickness of 1,000 mm, and a depth of 30 m. In total, Bauer Egypt successfully installed 7,280 m² of diaphragm wall, forming a crucial component of the plant's foundation infrastructure.
