Excavation pit construction for Tahrir Car Park
The Tahrir Car Park was developed in 2012 to ease downton traffic congestion. Bauer Egypt was responsible for constructing 36,883 m² of inner and outer diaphragm walls and barrettes, with depths up to 35 m. The project also included the installation of a soft gel grout plug at a depth of 32 m, covering 17,160 m². Additionally, a groundwater control system with 35 deep wells and an alarm system was implemented, set to operate for 16 months post-completion. This project provides much needed parking space, helping to improve traffic flow in the area.
