Excavation pit Construction for Cairo Metro Line 3 Phase 4

For the fourth phase of Cairo Metro Line 3, Bauer Egypt was commissioned to carry out essential foundation and soil treatment works. This phase involved the construction of four stations – Heliopolis, Alf Maskan, Shams Club and El Nozha – along with four annexes, a cut-and-cover section, and an exit shaft. Our expert’s scope of work included the installation of 72,800  m² of diaphragm walls, the construction of 105 barrettes with steel posts, and the application of soil treatment through a horizontal grout blanket across three stations. Additionally, jet grouting and TAM were used to address hard points, ensuring the stability and durability of the underground structures. The project was completed efficiently, contributing significantly to the expansion of Cairo’s metro infrastructure.
