Diaphragm wall work for Amiria Shaft
Bauer Egypt was responsible for constructing a diaphragm wall system to support the Amiria Shaft project. This included the execution of diaphragm walls with a shaft diameter of 50 m, a thickness of 1,200 mm and a depth of 60 m, totaling 8,300 m² of diaphragm walls. In addition, Bauer Egypt supplied and constructed a 10 –m thick horizontal grout blanket to control groundwater infiltration within the shaft. Excavation reached 32 m below the groundwater level, ensuring stability and structural integrity during construction.
