Foundation work for the Banha Bridge over the Nile River
The Banha Bridge, located over the Nile River, marked a significant milestone in the Egyptian infrastructure as it was the first project in the country to utilize 2 m diameter piles in a watercourse. Our experts from Bauer Egypt were tasked with the critical foundation work, executing 1,500 lm of piles with a diameter of 2,000 mm and a length of 47 m, designed to handle an impressive allowable compression load pf 1,650 tons. This project played a vital role in enhancing the region's transportation network and demonstrated innovative engineering solutions for challenging conditions.
