Excavation pit construction for USKUDAR Metro Station
The Maramary Metro Project was planned in 1985 as part of the overall upgrade of the Istanbul commuting system. The Uskudar metro station located at the edge of the Bosphorious sea is considered as one of the major stations in the Maramary metro project. Bauer Egypt was tasked with the execution of 28,000 m² of diaphragm walls with diameters of 1,500 mm at a depth of 57 m for the Uskudar station. Although it was the first time working in turkey, in hard soil and difficult weather conditions in a tight schedule, our experts successfully completed the key project.
