Excavation pit construction for Pondok Indah Mall and Office Tower 3

PT.Metropolitan Kentjana is a well-known name for the successful development of prosperity and convenience in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. The experts from Bauer Indonesia were assigned to carry out the foundation works for the Pondok Indah Mall 3 and Office Tower project, after Bauer had already satisfactorily completed the Pondok Indah Kartika Apartment project. Pondok Indah Mall 3 and Office Tower is a part of the simultaneous development of an integrated complex for a shopping mall, office tower, hotel and other commercial buildings. This project consists of two towers and a shopping mall that will be connected to the existing buildings Pondok Indah Mall 1 and 2, Pondok Indah Hotel, Pondok Indah Residence and Pondok Indah Office Tower. As in the previous phase, secant piles with diameters of 880 mm and 1180 mm will be used as retaining walls for this building as well as bored piles with diameters of 1000 mm and 1200 mm. The length of the secant pile wall was planned at 22 m and that of the bored piles at 45 - 50 m. 18 - 21 m of double-walled casing was used to enclose the overcut pile wall. In addition, 11 piles were installed for a temporary bridge between the Pondok Indah Office Tower and Mall 2.
