Excavation pit construction for Dharmawangsa Towers in South Jakarta

The Dharmawangsa Towers is a 24-storey residential and office building with two towers in South Jakarta. The experts from Bauer Indonesia installed a total of 717 bored piles, 32 soldier piles and 682 secant piles, test piles and king piles after installation. All bored piles and soldier piles for this project had to be tested for verticality using codends. To complete the work, three BG 30s, one BG 28 and one BG 14 were used on this project. Several sumps and water pumps were prepared to ensure that the working platform was dry. This project is located in a luxury residential area and required restricted working hours from 07:00 to 22:00 per day, with work not permitted on Saturdays and Sundays, which made this project more challenging. As the five rigs had to be operated simultaneously with other heavy equipment, the platform became congested. Despite all these challenges, the project was successfully completed without any schedule or quality issues.
